Health coaching?  What’s that?

Great question! As a Certified Holistic Health Coach, I work with individuals to look at the whole picture as it relates to their health and well-being, both on and off of their plate. This of course means nutrition, but also encompasses other things in life like stress management, physical activity, relationships, etc. Throughout our time together, we will work step-by-step to map out, work toward and achieve whatever your health and wellness goals may be.

While I can’t (and won’t) provide quick fixes or fad diets for you to follow, I will help you establish a meaningful relationship with your health and body.  We’ll explore what works (and doesn’t work) for you in terms of food and lifestyle, while creating long-term and sustainable changes in a way that is completely personalized to you. My goal is to always inspire, encourage and motivate you to live your best life that you deserve to be living!

 

Here’s a little more about my program:

  • Complimentary consultation.
    • These 30 minutes are all about you and are totally free of charge. In our initial consultation, we’ll discuss where you currently are, what your unique and individualized health goals are and the ways in which we can work together to get you where you want to be.
  • 12 personalized coaching sessions.
    • 12 x 50 minute sessions (2 per month for 6 months).
    • These sessions are personalized to you, your health + lifestyle goals and can either be done in-person if you’re local to Metro-Detroit or conveniently over the phone, Skype or FaceTime wherever you may be located.
    • Why 6 months? 
      • I’ve found that meeting on a consistent basis over a longer period of time leads to the greatest or longest-lasting changes. Meaningful change doesn’t happen over night! Each session, we’ll work together to establish tangible goals that become the foundation for the long-lasting changes you’ll carry through our six months together and beyond. 

What to expect from our sessions:

  • In-depth evaluation of your diet and understanding what foods make your body feel the best.
  • Healthy and delicious recipes crafted to nourish your body while helping you work toward your goals.
  • Daily support, accountability and motivation.
  • Session recaps to help you stay focused and motivated toward your goals and track your progress along the way.
  • Grocery store tours + shopping guidance for you to make the most of your trip and tips for keeping your wallet happy!
  • Pantry makeovers to ditch the bad, showcase the good and discover healthy swaps for your must-have staples.
  • Meal preparation tips / services.
  • Basic cooking lessons / demonstrations.
